Why is some dry charcoal of high quality while others are of poor quality?

Because the manufacturing process of dry charcoal involves three steps.

1. Manual mold, hand-cut & oven: Low-cost handmade. Pros: Cheap. Cons: Poor precision, air bubbles, weak strength.

   

2.Manual mold, machine-cut & autoclave: Semi-industrial. Pros: Higher strength, precise fiber layup. Cons: Disposable mold, higher cost.

3.3D aluminum mold, machine-cut & autoclave: High-end industrial. Pros: High precision, good consistency. Cons: Expensive mold, high threshold.
